Reunion Capital Partners

Reunion Capital Partners provides independent capital market advisory services to companies and their owners, board and management teams in relation to all facets and interactions with the equity capital markets. Reunion was founded by Mike Everett and Rob Penney. Our team members have spent the majority of their careers providing advice to the corporate and institutional clients of investment banks. We now specialise in advising private companies: we seek to provide to private companies the benefits of that institutional experience, but free from the conflicts of interests of institutions, and with a concern for the primacy of quality and impartiality of advice that is not possible within institutional teams.

We provide advice to all participants in private companies – founders, families, management teams, and shareholders. As we do, we seek always to provide more than bare capital or a completed transaction: we provide advice to meet all of the objectives of private clients, whether governance, cultural compatibility, selection of investors with real operational and strategic value, transfer of control to management teams, generational change and succession, or the preservation of legacy.

Our team members have continuously advised private equity firms since 2006. We have advised on over A$17bn of transactions that have involved private equity, including three of the ten largest private-equity-led acquisitions of ASX-listed companies. We have advised and include among our clients each of the major Australian firms, as well of most of the largest firms in the world.
